Sustainable Development Powering Tomorrow

GKSD Green Solutions is part of GKSD Investment Group and Greenthesis Group.
Created from a mutual desire between GKSD Holding and the leading group in the environmental sector, Greenthesis to help build a more sustainable future through renewable energy solutions. GKSD Green solutions is proud to join forces and draw on Greenthesis’ 30 years of experience in the green economy sector to create a uniquely integrated operator able to share global experience in environmental services.

GKSD Green Solutions services are designed to meet the needs of an ever-changing world, where environmental awareness is paramount. This is why we are committed to developing strategies and solutions that reduce environmental impact and promote a circular economy.
Our team of experts can provide customised advice to implement tailor-made green solutions. Depending on specific needs, a series of ad hoc measures can be implemented, such as adopting sustainable technologies, optimising energy valorisation processes and or waste recovery and recycling, but also assessing the environmental impact of activities.

Our facilities are located in Italy, Europe and the Middle East and enable us to offer the best energy solutions.

GKSD Green Solutions offers remediation technologies for:

  • Energy production from renewable sources, waste-to-energy, biogas-to-energy

  • The treatment, recovery, storage and disposal of solid and liquid waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous

  • The treatment of civil and industrial water, wastewater and sludge

  • The execution of environmental remediation and land reclamation

The recent European directives impose very high standards on the management of the waste cycle and consequently on the technologies used.

These objectives, of great environmental impact, can only be achieved by establishing the processes of the entire supply chain to implement a Circular Economy.

This is the value that drives the evolution of the Group

Principal Reference Points:

  • Environmental sustainability: we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities through the adoption of eco-friendly technologies and processes and we aim to minimise the use of resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pollution.

  • Renewable energy: we favour the use of renewable energy and invest in energy solutions with a low environmental impact. The energy produced by incinerating the biodegradable fraction of waste is 100% renewable and CO2 free. We believe that the transition to clean energy sources is a key step in combating climate change.

  • Waste reduction: we are committed to reducing resource waste and promoting recycling, reuse, and energy recovery practices in our quest to contribute to sustainable natural resource management and a circular economy.

  • We are committed to pursuing green policies in all our activities and to making sustainability a key priority. Together, we can make a difference and build a better future for all.

The Waste-to-Energy plant

The Waste-to-Energy plant is conceived not only as an infrastructure for waste treatment, but as a contemporary architectural landmark capable of harmoniously integrating into its surrounding context. Its design balances advanced industrial functionality with a strong aesthetic identity, transforming a traditionally technical facility into a recognizable and positive presence within the landscape.

The architecture emphasizes clean lines, carefully proportioned volumes, and material choices that reduce visual impact while enhancing durability and environmental performance. Green strategies are embedded at every level of the project, from optimized land use and compact layouts to high-efficiency energy recovery and emissions control systems aligned with the most advanced environmental standards.

Beyond energy generation, the plant contributes to a circular economy by recovering materials, reducing landfill dependency, and producing electricity and thermal energy for the surrounding urban fabric. Through a thoughtful dialogue between technology, architecture, and nature, the facility demonstrates how sustainable infrastructure can be both environmentally responsible and visually compelling, redefining the role of industrial architecture in a green and resilient future.
