The revamping, management and operations of Benghazi Medical Centre include the creation of a modernised and specialised hospital facility.
Revamping of Interior Spaces
The redevelopment of the interior spaces includes the renovation of common areas, the kitchen, and selected clinical departments through an intervention focused on improving spatial quality, functionality, and the overall user experience. At the same time, the project includes the modernisation of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and medical gas systems, together with the renewal of the main distribution networks. The intervention ultimately gives Benghazi Medical Centre a renewed identity: a contemporary hospital that combines architectural heritage, technological innovation, and spatial quality, positioning itself as a strategic reference point for the future of healthcare in Libya.
Management and Operations
HHH supports the comprehensive management and operation of Benghazi Medical Centre, covering both clinical and non-clinical services through an integrated approach focused on quality, efficiency and long-term sustainability. The scope also includes a comprehensive training and knowledge-transfer programme, delivered both on-site and in Italy, the recruitment of key personnel, ordinary maintenance, clinical engineering, hospital digitalisation, and the implementation of a Quality Management System aimed at achieving JCI accreditation.
